It is British Gas asking for feedback on a recent call out. ( I had an engineer call yesterday). The number rings but there is no one on the other end when you answer it. A voice mail is left saying that it is British Gas asking for feedback on their service, you then have the option to complete a satisfaction survey.

This is probably a scam. I got home to an answerphone message in an American accent saying it was from a Legal firm (no identity given) and that I should phone back urgently to prevent legal action being taken. A reputable call would give a contact name and the name of the business calling.

TAXES / HMRC Slightly odd I was informed by an automated voice that I was accused of a tax fraud. I had to press 1 or else a warrant for my arrest would be issued!!! I pressed 1 Automated American voice told me my call was important and to hold the line. After a couple of minutes I was through to a customer service assistant who asked for my name. He then brought up my file (his words) and needed to confirm my home address. I told him I am currently out of the country and he hung up?!
