SCAM - OFCOM Internet Conection Called pretending to be OFCOM with a convincing sounding recorded message from a very nice lady that my internet connection had been hacked and would terminate in 24hrs. Then requested I press "1" to resolve the situation. Absolute scam - the number is local to Solihull and is unobtainable if dialled. Delete and block immediately !!!
SCAM. Caller stated himself to be from the "UK Claims Department" which the UK's Financial Conduct Authority states to be unauthorised to conduct financial matters within the UK. From a mobile number too - no legitimate company would allow that. You're now warned!

Definitely a call center from background noise and when you call back the number goes straight back to that operater without company name total scam

Missed call - I did not know the number and it was simply from Great Britain. It rang 4 times and then hung up. I did not answer.
Stating they are the credit investigation department, a UK government department. When questioned further, the caller revealed they were an independent company doing promotional calls.
Call received from this number telling me my loan application has been successful told him I m not interested and he told me he was hot and sexy!!!
Recorded message from HMRC stating - we have been trying to contact you - who? No name mentioned. Apparently an arrest warrant has been issued for non payment of tax. I don't think so!

Finance firm been pestering me daily for over a month. Tried asking them to stop in many polite ways, now I just tell them to **********. Before anyone tells me thats illegal. Iam 72 on a lot of medication I lost my wife to cancer because our oncology unit was closed for covid use and now my daughter is going the same way. This was an automated mans voice claiming to be some kind of fraud check saying there was unauthorised payments from my amazon account. Did not say who they were. Did not believe them so I hung up. No answer of any kind when phoned the number back. Immediately suspected a scam .
Somebody called about my accident in the last two years. Asked them what accident? The one in the last two years. Ambulance chaser by the sound of it.
