This is a very complex scam. They use Voice recognition software and series of recorded English female responses. NEVER GIVE ANY DETAILS RE YOUR NAME< ADDRESS OR ANYTHING. THIS IS FIRST RATE FISHING. Indian Call Center, 02088943604, in your ear kind of call about mobile phone deals, told her not interested, asked her to remove my number from the list and she hung up, before I hunged up. Lesson Learned simply hang up on them. About time the governments and phone operators stopped these kind of calls, SPAMS and FRAUD are No.1 crimes.

These people keep phoning claiming they are the support for my internet providers. How do I get rid of them? I ask them which IP since I have 3, one of which is a bank, and I have 3 modems in my house. That normally makes them swear at me and hang up. The other method is to ask them which IP they are calling about, and when they say one, true or not, I say that the account is set up with a security word and they must confirm that before I can talk to them. Fraud, some number from London called me claiming there was a warrant out for me for tax evasion. Which for a first point, pretty much isn't possible as I'm employed with a large company who do my taxes for me. This is the UK after all, I don't do that myself. And second, after I gave my name I asked what organisation it was that was calling me before I'd be willing to continue and they just hung up on me.
