Fraud call from HRMC - don't return the call its a scam, its an automated call and also states you will need your lawyer to get involved. This is a US term, we use solicitors in the UK! Idiots.

I have been bombarded with calls from this number for over a month now. A company calls me almost every day from India introducing themselves as PPI Reclaim. Depending on what I m doing at the time, I either just hang up, tell them I never had PPI, or ask them to stop calling. Just got a phone call from this number at 10:24am, 26/4/2023 stating that there has been 2 "international transactions" over £700 this morning. Don't believe it one bit considering its from an EE provided phone number. It then says to press 1 to cancel the transaction. I didn't press anything and just left it then it hung up.

Almost immediately after I received a warning from O2 by text: *SECURITY WARNING* The one-time code you requested will arrive shortly. If someone's calling you and asking for a code, please end the call because they DO NOT work for O2. If you suspect fraud, call us on 202 so we can protect your account. Soon after a code came from O2. This suggests the caller was trying to access my account.
