This is a computer scam. I played along in order to waste their time and to get insight into their methods. There is a warm-up act and a main act to follow. Their first tactic is to say they will cut off your computer unless you cooperate. Asked him where he got details - said from database but could not say what. Told him should at the minimum his company should be vetting against telephone preference service.
