Scam caller, supposedly from Amazon to say my Prime subscription charge was about to be increased. Very bored, dull-voice woman with an odd accent who rang off the instant I sai...

Pretended to be BT & said was an engineer called John Morris phoning about our internet being hacked. Said his number was 0203 239 4138 but when checked on ring back it was 01235264789. Hung up when I asked him to put the problem in writing.

I ordered something from Argos website a few weeks ago while doing something else at the same time, and neglected to reverse the default status on the "let us sell your number to everyone" tick box. Now I m getting 2-3 calls a day from this number. My own silly fault for swimming with sharks.

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. This company is still at it but now calling off witheld numbers. I heard the words "accident" when I asked who they were. Told them never to call me again that my number was registered with Mobile Telephone Preference Service so therefore they should not be calling and that accessing my number from Gumtree for marketing calls was illegal before telling them to remove my number immediately or next time I will report them.
