Namely it solicits the person receiving the call to press 1 on their phones to seek help in avoiding Internet cut off within a timeslot of 4hrs usually. Needless to say there is no real problem pending and by pressing 1 the unwary may be frightened into giving bank details eg to pay delivery charge for new router. PLEASE HANG UP. Suspect untrustworthy. Wanted to offer me a 3 month subscription to the magazine for ?1 an issue (cover price about ?3.50 or so). Asked for my sort code and bank account number. I was driving so said ring back - when she did, I couldn t take the call anyway.

I keep getting calls about renewing my boiler and solar panels. prerecorded message. They have many numbers they re just a bloody nuisance. There should be a law to stop idiots like these.

Had two calls from this number. They hung up when I asked them to prove who they were in response to being asked for my security details. Spoke to Orange and demanded to have the calls stopped or as a loyal customer I will leave Orange. Lots of excuses but they accepted in end. I will leave if it happens again!

SPAM A similar number called me earlier twice today (07834 247675). This number has just called me (07834 241177) using a recorded message, claiming to be from the Department of Work and Pensions, to say that my National Insurance Contributions have been suspended.
SCAM: Pseudo automated female voice claiming to be from BT stating that my BT landline and internet connection will be cut off, but speak to our advisor by pressing 1 on the telephone who will sort it out lol Disconnected and banned number.
