Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). Asked me about a flight I had booked, I hadn't booked any flights, definitely scam call
SCAM number as if you try to call it back they end your call. When I answered the call the guy couldn't talk very good English, too myself, he then said that he's from citizens advice bureau and has found out information that I've got a lot of debt and they wish to help me dispose of the debt I then asked how does citizens advice know I have debt when I have not and then I said to them citizens advice do not cold call you you have to make appointments to go and see them so this is a scam.

She proceeded to call me Mr William (my first name) and said they had done a search on me and found that I had been scammed (untrue) (my new isp did a search on me last week and found no trace of me online) She asked me to tell her what happened. I was called from this number today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message on my answering machine. The number that appeared initially on my telephone was not the same as this one. This is clearly a scam.

SPAM This number leaves an automated robotic sounding message with a slight american accent if the call is unanswered. But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. This is the second time in a few days I have been targeted and the number also had 07738 prefix but followed by 207964
