i got a call that i missed and when i called back it was an automated message saying i should leave a message
SCAM / SPAM Phone call supposedly from BT stating that router had been hacked and asked to go to PC. When i asked for my BT account number the caller hung up.
I answered this call and the lady on the other end said she was calling from OVO Energy, as it appeared as a mobile number I didn t trust or believe her and ended the call!!!! I ve now blocked the number!!!!

Missed call - Unknown number. Rang but left no message. I never answer unknown numbers due to the volume of scams. Any genuine caller would leave a message. Any polite caller would leave a message. Therefore this number is from a person who is neither genuine or polite. Not someone I wish to talk to!

Ring at very anti social times of the day, quick talking Indian guys who have no idea how to say my name, rude when I refused to spare 1 minute to answer their questions, then put phone down. This is the second call in as many days from what appears to be a valid UK phone number but is most likely a cold caller masking their own number/ID and falsely making the call look like it's a UK number. I rang back the 'UK' number that phoned us the day before and it was a private individual living in Worcestershire. Neither she nor her husband had made the call. The Call Guardian phone has been worth its weight in gold as it deters 99% of cold callers - those that announce their names are then blocked
