SPAM alert on my phone when this number called me
This is an actual real firm's number. But the number has been taken over by some scammer who is contacting random people. I did not answer the phone in time, so rang back and the company said they had several people ringing back who had been approached by scammers. Awful for them to be used like this.
Amazon Prime subscription scam. I sang him a Christmas carol and he hung up. :-)
SCAM Third Chelmsford number blocked today. They hung up when I answered but upon dialling the number displayed, was met with automated message saying CB Brokers or CD Brokers. Be careful it’s a scamI they send a text saying my new number save it with no name. I text back and asked if they were . Next got a couple of short text about hope your day is better than mine. Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.

I have never sort to buy property abroad, so I can only presume this is some sort of scam.
I have listed this as scam SCAM but I do answer unknown out of the blue calls. I believe that if the caller dosen't bother to leave a message, it can't be serious and is probably up to no good. As soon as the caller got the answerphone message they immediately killed the call.
This number called my mobile but when answered, cut off. Called the number back but it showed as an invalid number. Now blocked.

SCAM, claims to be from EE and is "upgrading" your contract. I don't have a contract with EE at all and never have. Said they were from "fonehouse and were a third party for EE.
