This number has been calling for month, plus this number has been ringing me sometimes right after each other and it is a nuisance sometimes 6 or 7 times a day. Sometimes I answer this number by accident and recently I asked them to stop ringing and take my number off their list, which has never happened as they refused to do so. Typical **** auto recorded message about debt consolidation preying on the financially reckless, vulnerable and so on - as if anyone in this world would be stupid enough to sign up to anything with no prior knowledge on a cold call. If you see this number disconnect or let it ring out, nothing to be gained.

These were calling me at least 3 times a day until I actually answered, then claiming to be RAC wanting me to add extra cover to my policy. Told them I wasn t interested, didn t have a call for a week or so and now they re off again! This is definately NOT RAC because I ve checked the number with them! Do not give ANY details to these idiots!!

This is updating a previous comment I made. The number is definitely Social Services but you cannot return the call to this number directly as it seems to be a main switchboard and is constantly engaged - you need to have the extension for the person who contacts you. If you don t have an answerphone then you will have to answer the call to find out who exactly is calling and for what reason.

Irrelevant whether you give your number out, as these people just use auto diallers, which take no account of ex directory, TPS etc status.

The lady rang me and said bye then hung up the phone. Keep getting calls from the same number!

Claiming to be from BT issue with broadband wanted to download a programme on the laptop

a bloody moron called and left a message on my ansaphone - my number is new, so not many know it. He ranted about being from Afganistan, and that he was in the Taliban, and had an effing rifle you get the message! went on for 5 mins... Could here callcentre noise in background. I called the 0800 orange no. and was told it wasnt them, but called the number and it said it WAS orange and the office was called. Dialed 101 and reported the number and moron to the police.. let them find him.
