This number has called me at least 4 times a day for the last four days. Because I don t know the number, I don t answer.
SCAM:Indian sounding man asked for me by name, had my address & post code. Asked where he had got this info., and that it was all total rubbish. He said that my washing machine warranty had run out. I received an automated voice call from this number, telling me that they were from my Internet provider and my Internet services will be disconnected due to illegal use. They requested me to "press 1 to speak to an advisor" but I hung up. I then returned the call from my landline and received an automated reply telling me that nobody was available to take my call. Obviously a scam, so beware!

This caller wanted to claim back my PPI. He said they took 30% plus VAT with a no gain no fee guarantee. He started to ask questions that I will never discuss on the phone so I was immediately suspicious.
**SCAM** Same as last review - called from 'Vodafone' & said someone had changed my phone number. Recieved text with code during the call. I asked him to call me back in 30 mins, he said "why, are you busy"? He couldn't verify he was from Vodafone and said they'd send an email (not recieved an hour later..). Checked my Vodafone account and no activity. TBH I'm used to being ripped off by Vodafone but at least I can see it happening :)

As a person who works in the It industry I can tell you that these people are not qualified to be "Microsoft certified technicians. They lack the knowledge and expertise. They are extremely persistent about these" hackers" and "viruses" when most of them probably don t exist in the first place. As the other guy said, play around with them. It s fun!
