Unwanted call, they start message part way through, do not say why they are calling you and if call back can not speak to anyone. A man called me from this number and said that I had a car accident in front short and he needed my data for insurance. Since I had really short before a car accident, I asked for more detail. But he could not say how the accident expired or looked like the cars to me. He then said that he would have been not at all involved. He ll call for a friend. Why not call the friend himself, he could not tell me. I said that he is ripping off someone else and hung

This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

They keep calling daily and putting the phone down on the times that I do answer (sometimes it s a missed call so shows they keep trying). I have blocked the number today.

They maintain they are The Home Energy Centre (Chelmsford no.) but no trace of them anywhere. Treat with caution. They even phone you if you are registered with TPS
