Appears to be a car accident scam and I put the phone down soon after a garbled message from a female passing me to a supposed supervisor on what appeared to be a noisy mobile. Hung up saying I do not accept calls unless I know who they are.

Disgusting told Me they would give me a loan. Sounded legitimate told me to pay installment upfront of £185 which I stupidly did. Then I canceled after they started asking for more money. I've asked for a refund and for 4 days now he's told me it will go in my bank. Still no money. Do not believe them I've lying scumbags hope they get caught out for fraud!! Two calls today from this number, both using the same script on home security. Asked for me by name on a business line which is CPR listed so legally should not receive any unsolicited sales or marketing calls. They introduced themselves as "Crime Prevention Officers" looking into recent spate of burglaries in area and gave the impression they were connected to the police if not actually officers. As we had an attempted burglary recently I thought it was the follow up I had been promised. BUT...it was the

Took ages for them to answer once I d answered the call then on a very bad line asked if I was Miss (First name) (Middle name). I m not a Miss and presumably they know I might not have the same surname they have for me anymore. I m always sceptical of people using my first and middle name so hung up but it didn t sound like his English was very good.
Called says they are from Amazon prime and my account has charges.
When I answered it was just silent then after a few seconds they hung up???
