Friendly number

Call to my landline at 09:98 on Monday 15 July 2019. No-one there when answered and hung up. Suspected cloned number.

Male called and said I owed money on a NEWDAY credit card linked to my amazon account. I had taken the offer of getting a card via getting a 20% discount on an item but never activated the card. He reeled of items purchased for certain dates. Funny enough, all those payments had already come out of my own Visa card not theirs. Also, the only card visible for payments on my amazon account is my own. And the call was promptly ended.... BE AWARE AND DO NOT GET ROPED IN!!!

Rest easy, it seems to be the cavity wall insulation scam, according to the majority of reports on other sites.

Tried to tell me I should review my life insurance policy told him I wasn?t interested as I have cover from my employer. He then told me I had a private policy, I don?t. Told him I wasn?t interested and hung up.

Don’t answer, they claim you already have insurance with them. Then they try to get your bank or credit card details. Scammers.

NHS Direct called me to make a Hospital Appointment at request of my GP.

I was looking my online banking see transactions 89.50 not happy with it they need be stop.

Caller claimed to be working with BT to save us money on our BT bill. She was obviously lying as we don t use BT. Became aggressive when I refused to say who we did buy telephone service from. I suspect it s some type of scam.

I had answered this number twice and asked to be removed from the calling database. Now blocked but getting a text notification everyday for the last week.

This company repeatedly calls me on both my mobile and my landline. I have asked them to stop calling but they keep doing it.

A man claimed he was from a company called "Speed" who rudely demand to know why I hadn t made a claim for the accident I d apparently been in. The last accident I d been involved in was a few years ago and upon hearing me start to explain this he hung up before I finished speaking. This is clearly a scam hoping to either get some personal details to allow them to commit identity fraud or to falsely extract money from me.
