My wife was mugged into responding to this. I immediately saw the problem and text'd STOP to the number but they still keep extracting money from the account. Now going to try my provider by banning all premium rate texts to her number and then going to Ofcom to try and get them banned and my money back.

Got charged loads for every message. I did an online survey for free shopping vouchers. Seems it was a scam. I did not confirm anything through my phone with them. No texts sent but it has not stopped them from trying to charge/rip me off by sending me messages from as a premium service. Luckily I just no longer top up my phone. The messages dont stop. They try delivery every day. Get a message saying you have insufficient funds. Clever criminals.

It came from Facebook through a competition to win 100 pounds at Sainsbury's. No mention of the £4.50 per week text cost until my mobile phone bill was charged. It hooked me into 5 different competitions and I've just realised that I have been charged £80 without realising over two months. This is daylight robbery and I will be seeking to claim back. Facebook should not allow this.
