SCAM . . . . . starts with a text "Where are you? I'm waiting for you". If you reply you will be marked down as a 'responder' and active with replying to texts (or even worse, possibly phone calls). Simply ignore it and block the number.

Caller claimed to be from BT saying that they'd had reports that my broadband speed wasn't as good as it should be.
This number called twice today. The man claims to be from a mobile phone company that works with my operator. Offers better deals. and need my details, and my contract details and when I asked why he's not taking data from the screen he admitted that my details are not there and he is calling with a completely different company. Clearly scammers and it's better not to talk to this number.
said his name was 'jai' or something similar sounding. asked if I do marketing then my ethnic background. said he needed help with google. Told him I don't deal with google, he claimed no available help at google. when I said I can't help with google and to contact them, he said only 'he can set his password'. Said I was being 'funny about it and told me I was weird'. blocked the number.

Automated voice stating a transfer had occurred on my Visa Mastercard of 700.00 & 900.00 Then stated to block the transfer press 1 I didn't press anything as thought was a scam and the call ended after a few seconds

Missed call cannot ring the number back which screams SCAM or high pressure sales call. I have been pestered recently by buy to rent mortgage type people although not from the area code (Torquay) and estate planning neither of which would be of any use to me. SCAM. Probably from the same source as 1656737322, a call to my landline. The well spoken, but recorded voice, told me that two suspicious transactions had been noted on my account (no introduction as to who she represented) and that I should take one of two actions. Either press "1" to cancel them or "2" to speak to a service advisor. I left the call open for ten minutes but there was no further communication from the caller. Why Bridgend exchange? I have no idea.
