Received a call from 01784279719 on 24/08/2017. Asian sounding male asked to talk about my "Windows" PC. So for fun I asked which one? I m an old nerd and have all between Win 3.1 and Win 10, but I did not tell him that! He says "the one running the Windows operating system". It s obvious he is fishing for info! Called to advise me that microsoft had put a virus on my computer, they asked for my bank details to give me a refund, i only gave part of this to them but i started to question why they were telling me my phone bill was also due. They have hacked my bank account and taken over ?300.00. Please do not answer the phone to these scammers. Learned my lesson playing on the vulnerable and elderly.
