Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1183282xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. Accident Claim marketing. This number called today from Benbecula in the Scottish Outer Hebrides! I never answered but I rang back withholding my number. Answer machine message asking about accident claim. Number now blocked.

This number called and I did not recognise the number so I did not answer it. I then tried to ring it back to see who was calling and the message I got was "this number is not recognised so I can only guess it is another scam call.

Get about 2 calls a day from these people and an additional voicemail. Some days i get silent voicemails with no call. Always says first credit, message for mr james warner and gives number to call back on and quoting reference. I block their numbers every time but they call back with a different number with the same start. Number they said to call was 07137235229

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre.
