The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. Got this call today, pension, under 60, £1,000 blad blad blad, total scam and I just hung up, checked the map where the call might come from and it shows a street called Lloyd St. in Manchester, near, in or beside a pub called the Old nags head.

Bellends rang this morning on a bank holiday. When I answered, it seemed to ring at their end then their was a slight pause after which I could hear some background noise like it was a call-centre before it was terminated.

i received a call from this number stating my ip address had been compromised could I please confirm my ip address. when I asked who called they hung up.

Already been told prior I am not interested, still they see fit to keep harassing me with the same PPI stuff.

Told them I belong to the TPS , but they keep on calling & would not remove my no from the data base without me confirming my personal details... Dream on you con men - I m not that stupid!

This number called me TWICE. I didn t recognise number so did not pickup. I wish organisations that are selling people s mobile numbers wouldn t because it s really annoying. Number is now blocked.

Indian call centre for accident claims...

This is a PPI scam. Best to listen politely and show interest before requesting that they ring you back on another number. Then give them the number of another known scammer and they should keep one another amused for a while. Suggested numbers of known scammers:- 01935 350190 and 01379 844163. Both these numbers have repeatedly rung me recently.
