SCAM Pretending to be from BT (I am not with BT), said I had a problem with my router and needed me to switch on my computer so that he could check.
Line went dead when I answered. They have called every 30 minutes for last 90 minutes. I looked up the number here and have now reported and blocked the number. What is the scam here, I can't work it out?

Answered and lady who i spoke to said she was from the review centre and it was regarding my life insurance with Legal and General (I've never had insurance with them). She had my maiden name and correct birth date. I told her she was working from old information as my life insurance is under my married name and not with L&G. She then hung up.
