SCAM: Foreign sounding woman called me saying that my postcode had won a gift card, which would give me 40% off my shopping in ALL supermarkets, and also could be used to buy meals in restaurants. I told her I hadn’t entered any competition, so how could I have won? She said if was a post code lottery! I presume that if we had continued, she would have asked me for personal details. Eventually she got fed up with me arguing, and ended the call

Like Cadbury who posted a few weeks ago, just had a call (on an ex-directory Virgin landline, not BT) from someone cllaiming to be from accident and investigation and that I must co-operate.....After i gave him the hard word and advised that we were registered with TPS and if further harassed I would prosecute, he hung up.....

I didn't press the keys but said my computer was old and it had crashed, she rang off after saying thank you for your time. Obviously a scam to access your computer fraudulently.

They keep calling our EX Directory Number !!!How did they get this??? and never leave a message so as far as we are concerned THEY are NOT legit!1 and we refuse to answer! We have blocked the number on our main phone but it still rings on our other phone which we are going to stop asap! We will not tolerate being Harrassed and neither should anyone else!! Just got a very strange call from this number saying it was hmrc and that I had been fraudulent ... and I needed to pay ... first they said £1900 then £1800 then £1700. They said if I didnt they would send the police to get me arrested ... he wouldnt give me any details of how they knew who I was and was quite bullying ... my hands are left shaking and then he put down the phone
