Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. Paypal scam - posing as a Gumtree buyer . He/she will reply to anything you have for sale on gumtree. They send you a text but then ask you to reply to a moody email address. The one they gave me was [email?protected] and the number they used was +44 141 280 7229. Clearly foreign (poor use of English) and also clearly retarded - lack of understanding of gramma and spelling. Stay well away.

on 22 june the above number 0161 8735544 rang my son and said that an amount of ?1500.00 was waiting to be claimed fir whiplash for a accident he had in 2009 foulishly he gave them details including his mobile phone number and said they will ring him on monday 25th june to follow this up.
