Offering loan ,insisting a lot ,depositing money in your account and after asking to transfer money in a personal bank account to can release the loan.Barclays told me coz I never didn’t had that loan in my account £3150 and they never called me ,so is a scam.Do not give the personal details.

SCAM. called many times. The guy introduced himself Peter Jones calling from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd. trying to sell personal loan. it was suspicious. checked with FCA, I've been told that they are impersonating businesses and personal names. Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company and they are only mortgage broker not selling or offering personal loans. beware this landline number is a scam. personal loan only offered by banks directly.

Definite scam. Claimed (falsely) to be Harry from Carphonewarehous3 in London calling because "we have a special offer on new phones today". I live in Scotland, he's calling from London claiming to be a big phone store. They would never ring me like that, nor you either. How could he have got my number legitimately? He immediately went into "what phone are you using?" Obviously looking to sound like he could choose an upgrade whilst scamming you out of the cost of the non-existent

Missed call - Missed the call. Rang back out of curiosity and got the message "This number has been suspended through suspected misuse or fraud. If affected call..." and gave the Fraud Line Interestingly, I look at my Blocked Numbers log and I have in the past blocked 0161 636 3721 - 3726, so it must be an allocation bought up by someone dodgy who just flips the outgoing number when it gets burned.

Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.

Scam number impersonating virgin money. I received a text which appeared to be from virgin money “this is your one time passcode to debit your account (amount) to pay (company). If this was NOT you call us on 03309124638” I called Virgin money directly using their actual number from the back of my bank card to report it, it’s definitely a scam.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. The caller, Liam, claimed to be from Premier Rewards ... wanting to give me some money! Like, yeah!! I consider this to be a 'SPAM' call and potentially dangerous. The caller kept interrupting me - a known tactic from SPAM callers! My suggestion to anyone is to just Hang Up!

3/5/23 This phone number is highly risky. A man with a heavy accent who is barely audible through a crackling line purports to call 'about your computer'. When challenged that this is a scam - the caller became agitated and talked over me. I put the phone down. He called back and started shouting that I had nor right to call it a scam. I told him to get off the line or I would call the police. He said he didn't care about the police. I put the phone down. This Is a SCAM. A very distressing experience.
