Fraud. Caller was automated message saying it was from Visa and that several payments to China had been blocked. I was to then press '1' to be put through to the Visa fraud team. I don't have any Visa cards.

SPAM guess ? They rang at 08.45 and silent. They there was a click, a background noise, then they hung up. Very annoying. Luckily I’m not old and infirm but this could unsettle an older person.

SCAM Third Chelmsford number blocked today. They hung up when I answered but upon dialling the number displayed, was met with automated message saying CB Brokers or CD Brokers. Suspect it's the same scumbags who have been scamming my elderly mother for a number of years by signing her up for appliance insurance for appliances she doesn't own. Someone from this number attempted to defraud me by pretending to be a relative needing cash to repay a debt.

02080971045. Russian speaking chmo, talking about my general interest in financial trading that I expressed but never realised. When told I was going to block him, he threatened to sell on my data on a black market.

O2 scam, if your on o2 your at risk as the scammers go on o2 website enter the code you give them then hey presto they are into your o2 account.

Claimed they from smart insurance & company changed from original. They knew lots of info about insurance. Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. I felt relieved that i hadnt given out my bank details but its shocking how lnowledgeable they were and the information they currency had on it. Blocked immediately. Pls beware and be careful.

Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate.
