I got scammed like the last two posters on Saturday 26th June, but at Frankley on the M5 at around 11.30am. I reported it to West Midlands Police and to Action Fraud but have not had a follow up from either yet. Silver Vauxhall VIG2342, very convincing and grateful manner, same story about returning from Belgium and needing money to get back to Ireland and feed his children, same mobile number (07721 950844) - also introduced me to his children and happy to show me his ID. I haven't even bothered contacting

This number called 6 times in less than 2 hours. Did not know number so didn t answer. When I phoned the number back, somebody answered with just "Hello", did not announce company name but lot of background noise. Definitely some sort of scam.

They call me every day around about 1130. Sometimes once, sometimes a couple of times.. No one ever says anything, it just cuts. this is 100% EDF Energy. Did not understand when I asked if that was all one word or 2 words, must be a question asked by others Im sure.. She passed me on to another lady and she was not much better. I ended the call as I felt sure SKY would employ people with better spoken English than this for a customer service job. This felt wrong so Im going to say its dangerouse. no evedence however.
