This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. The caller new me by name asked me to answer 2 questions to win 5 pounds. Asked me if i used tv shopping channels.Then asked if I had bought anything in the last 6 months from qvc.Or he may have said bid tv,but thought it was qvc although research leads me to believe the same people regularly say its from bidtv. I think the caller can make money off people trying to call back? although i dont know. It could just be aggressive advertizing.

They called,said I was due a refund from a credit card. I immediately told them I was registered with TPS and that I did not want to be called again by them. Chap on the line got a bit arsy and said "well if you don t want a refund then" at which point I hung up

I missed their first call yesterday, but answered today and they said they were calling about an accident I ve been involved in recently (with an upward tone at the end - as though they were asking this as a question)... I just said "errr, no - I ve not been involved in an accident for a long while" and they hung up on me. Very untrustworthy - don t bother answering.

People pretending to be Talktalk to scam you to download teamviewer and then claim to clear crap out of your router to then offer you a refund of £200. They then ask you to go onto your own personal account to login to get refund. All looks nice and pucker but then they try really forcefully to get you to login. I just argued for ever and they hung up.
