Just took one of these calls. After reading from a script about a survey, they were polite enough to ask "Are you ready for the first question?". I replied "No!". They hung up :)

You will never find out - it is a pure spam call - local number after the area code of 01409 cannot start with a 0

08443373025 called this morning but left no message. I have been having lots of these types of calls for a long time. Yesterday a local number phoned 10 times I finally answered and it was a company who will recoup money from you if u were miss sold a bank account.

Kept calling frequently and hanging up or dead line upon answer - finally got a female asking to speak with DH about previous Boxing news subscription and he wasn t interested. She says "well I ll call back" before I could pleasantly tell her to remove the number she hung up. Still keep ringing and Sky scandalously want to charge £3.50 per month to bar it. Saw another user s helpful comment to change the call ID so we know to ignore it, so thanks for that bit of advice.

Banana Chap Lighten up as Steven put I generally like to Wind these arses up giving them a correct sort code as they can instantly check this but make up account no,s then seem unsure but keep them dangling on the end of the phone.
