Computerized voice claiming to be international police and asking you to press a number to get more information. Is a gotcha!

This number called me today. I called back and the agent who is also the voicemail voice for ‘Mortgages London’ asking ‘Hi, is this Leah?’. I’m a man. They then called back, and when they heard my voice said ‘Sorry, wrong number’ and hung up. Disgraceful spamming people when they are at work.

If this number contacts you about a "recruitment", it's a scam. Do not engage. And certainly don't deposit any money into their service, you're not getting it back.

Indian chap, allegedly from Carphone Warehouse. Said I could have a 5g phone with 80Gb of data, etc., for £7 a month. Sounded too good to be true, which means it probably is, so I passed. He then complained that I had wasted his time! I guess his next move would have been to ask for my bank details! Avoid!

Someone called my landline on this number about 0815 this morning and it woke me up! No message left. It is a similar number to a couple of calls I have received this week. The previous callers claimed to be from BT, saying there was a problem with my broadband connection - which there isn’t and I told them so. It is likely a scam to get you to give information so they can hack into your system.

SPAM - Welsh man from call centre said he was from Protective Life (or something) told him I wasn't interested and to take me off his list. Started getting very aggressive and kept asking why and did I even know what the call was about. Told him not interested and he then got angry and called me a whore. This number is part of a dating fraud scam. Do NOT get sucked in. It’s a ploy to extort money. The caller is not real…. It’s fraud!!

SCAM ...said he was from O2 wanting me to upgrade phone and contract. Put me on to female supervisor when I said no! Said she would text me a code to prove who she was... I just watched the scam baiters on YouTube and this is just what the scammers do. Do not fall for it. Contact the company yourself if you want to upgrade!
