Phishing call to my business mobile regarding fictitious RTA. Probably harvested my name and number from a business listing.

Unrelenting *ankers.

Same format introduction as "Have you had an accident recently"- I hung up before the spiel

I have told them I'm not interested but they phone next day again. Very annoying and I want it to stop.

This number calls, when answered voices can be heard in the background but no one speaks.

I recieved a call from a company introducing themselves as Energy Helpline and stated that they were looking to help me out on my Home Phone and Broadband bills. They convinced me to switch to another provider and that I had to pay an amount upfront for an activation fee? Is this normal? Then they stated they had a power cut as soon as I gave those details and they then had to ring me back? Sounds suspicious if you ask me, it has been an hour now. What is happening???
