Return phone number on text message warning supposedly from Santander Bank. I confirmed with Santander the message was not from them. Text deleted. Originating phone number blocked.(it was a UK mobile number which I didn’t note)

Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist.
