I have just had a call from a lady from 01704 222222 claiming to work for Albany Assist and wanting to talk to me about the non fault accident I have had in the last two and a half years. I told her I hadn’t had one and the call ended. Reported to the real Albany Assist as per the request in this thread. Interesting that if you call the number back no one answers. Probably TPI (Third Party Intermediary) using hard sell techniques to convince to switch to OPUS or similar energy companies. They will do anything possible to hide the fact that they are energy brokers which is actually against the Trading Standards but Ofgem will soon start to go after them. They will try to convince you to accept a new contract with them. DO NOT Trust them as they will get paid and you may end up with an expensive new contract.

I get calls from this number, when I asked where they got my number from was told the standard lie "opt-in data" or "they bought a list of numbers". These people are liars as they wanted to help me reclaim money IF i had taken out any credit - I have never taken out any credit so they are just trying their luck and calling anyone and harrassing them. this number is calling my mobile up to 4 time a day. I don t know who they are and will no answer numbers I don t know or rely unless a voice message has been left.

Phoned today from this told it was Microsoft and that me PC had been sending them error reports. Wanted to has remote-access to PC.
