I doubt a caller from Russia would be legitimately calling me, any half-witted scammer would mask their number if calling from such a terrorist state, so I suspect that it was supposed to be a masked UK mobile number with too many digits. Whatever, it is an unwelcome call.

Claiming they call from HMRC with a court case against your name. After started asking questions about some proof they work for HMRC, they started panicking and said I can look up the case on the website of UK's Supreme Court. Plot twist - there is no Supreme Court in the UK.
Suspected fraud Automated call saying they are calling from Royal Mail because parcel hasn't been delivered twice as nobody was home and to press button for English or Chinese. Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). I am very suspicious, as I never got a call from Royal Mail from a mobile number, they normally leave a notification behind to pick it up yourself. Colder Caller DBS - Direct Business Solutions taking advantage of the current affairs with Ukraine to try and sell utility business solutions. I said several times politely to take our number off the call list, asked to speak to the right person, I said no they wouldn't be interested and to again take the number off their list, said the managing directors name and again stated we we were not interested. He was very cocky, rude and would take no for an answer so cut him off.

A company calling themselves "Housing Disrepair Management" falsely claiming I reported a problem to a housing association and trying to get details from me, despite the fact that they couldn't tell me my name or where I lived. They hung up when I repeatedly asked for more details about how they got my number.

Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.

Scam. tried to sell something, then when I said not interested, asking where they got my name and number, they changed what they were selling, becoming forceful. I kindly said that they should remove my details from their list and not call again, suggesting they were acting illegally, because I am listed in the TPS, then they slammed the phone down on me.
