The phone rang once and that was it. I just looked up the number out of curiosity.
I was ripped off by a free to enter competition which as taken over ?25 on my mobile account. Why don t mobile stop the payment they must know that this is a scam if not they need telling
Claims - my Santander account has unusual activity to avoid my account being blocked ..... click here .... usual bate nonsense.

If leave till my ansaphone kicks in, get automated message making out that I've rung them. Marking them as dangerous and annoying.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Scam call from HMRC. Caller message is in an American accent and when you call back its an offshore rather than UK dial tone and they answer as HMRC - clearly a scam of some sort and not a very convincing one. Caller blocked but beware!!!
This number continually calls claiming to be Scottish Power, who want payment for a final bill. Every call quotes a different figure due. At no point can they tell you the address to which this scam is referring to, but the do try to get you to confirm your address to them. The become agitated and aggressive once they realise that you know it is a scam.
