This number called while I was out. I did not have time for checks when I got home (most calls I get are of the nuisance variety) so did not ring back. Afterwards I discovered it was the Talk Talk imposters who have been bothering me for a couple of years.

This Company called to question my working history. They said that a recent change in the UK legislation meant that many more workers were due to compensation for hearing issues. Within minutes of getting a nuisance call on the spare mobile telephone I do not use I received this call on my landline, a recorded voice telling me it was the last time they would be trying to contact me - but I have had the SAME MESSAGE many times! They continue to lie. Their calls are uninvited. I do not want anything to do with them. I object to recorded messages of this type anyway.

Asian man claiming to be calling on behalf of Microsoft....usual "your computer security has been compromised". Knew my name and address. Let him go on for a while and then I got fed up/annoyed and just told him he was lying and stopped the call.

Caller claimed to be from BT. From such a professional organisation, I would expect the caller to identify themselves personally, such as 'hello my name is abc, from BT, etc. So I assumed it to be a scammer either trying to either sell me something or obtain personal information about me. I'd also expect the 'phone number to come up in google search. Told caller to 'bogoff'.
