'Lloyds Bank' are not in my contacts list. I failed to find on my smartphone a phone number this message came from. I "Blocked sender' on smartphone, will also inform Lloyds directly.

Asian woman said she was with Telephone Preference Service and wanted the expiry date of my bank card. Said I never gave TPS any bank details so why is she asking for them. Said she didn't want my bank details and not understandin what she was saying and asked again for my expiry date. Ended up shouting down the phone if she phones me again police will be involved did SHE understand THAT?!!

Scam I did not answer

The caller could not confirm their registered address and said they do not have a website. She also asked for my full name. I stopped her there and asked her to validate her company. She said she does not have that information and would need to call head office then call me back. Erm!

There are some dodgy people going around London fixing stickers to peoples doorbells and front doors that say "24/7 LOCKSMITH 07379 253 353". There have been news reports that these type of stickers are used by criminals to identify which properties can later be burgled. This may or may not be the case with these stickers but any locksmith that advertises by sticking stickers on other peoples property without permission, are untrustworthy in my book.
