I keep receiving messages in quick succession on my landline answer machine (8 this morning so far). They are clear until the company name is stated, when it becomes muffled. Having looked at the reviews, the calls seem to come from Talk Talk (can hear it is a busy call centre in the background), but I am with BT and have never had any dealings with Talk Talk!
This number cold called me regarding an ee phone contract. Can't say for sure it isn't legit, but I have my suspicions as it sounded like a foreign call centre and they had no reason to call me. Plus, according to this website, the number belongs to an electrical lighting manufacturer, not to ee. W@nkers!
I have had a call from this number as I do not know it I let the answering machine get it, as soon as the announcement started the caller hung up. When I dialled the number back using 141 to block my own number the call was not picked up. I suspect a call centre of some form possibly phishing. Also had a missed call from 02089022724 which I assume is the same outfit. If genuine reason for call, why not leave a message?

SCAM - the guy said he was from a company called MEH. He said there was potentially something wrong with my life insurance cover which could stop me from being paid out. I asked him what life insurance cober and he hung up. Obviously a scammer BEWARE!!!
This company relates to OAKMOUNT AND PARTNERS LIMITED - Reg No. 07101464 who are fraudsters been scamming people into fake investments such as Carbon Credits, Oil, Metal etc since 2009 that don't exist. They will steal your money in order to feed their lives, you will not receive any returns only complete lies. I got text messages from this number, claiming to be someone called Emma. I was nearly taken in until they asked for a Phone voucher because they were in the hospital. I then realised that the only Emma I know enough is a Consultant Paediatrician, and so probably wouldn't be asking for money. Potentially dangerous
Received a call from this Dublin number. With an American voice, I was told that I owed money to the HMRC and I had not responded to a letter I had been sent. Clearly a scam.
