I got a call from this number from an Indian claiming to be a software engineer from Microsoft. He claimed people were hacking into my computer while on Internet and wanted me to download some software to fix the problem. At the same time I was Googling for the scam and found plenty of details about the Supremo software he wanted me to install. When confronted he refused to admit that I was being scammed - so I asked him to send me an E-Mail from a reputable Microsoft address - which has not arrived,

Trying to scam money off card details to an outfit called BHP Global LTD based in Blackburn. Claim to be Google advertising optimisation bollox or something. Block or tell them to fuck.off.
Text received saying "Maureen (surname - not mine) your Lloydsbank Bank Account has been compromised. Please call us on 01332 (etc)" Not my name (OR gender!) and I have no knowledge of the person named, nor do I have (or had) any dealings with this bank.
SPAM This number is from a batch of similar numbers: 07488871703. 07488871758, 07488871735, 07488871757, 07488871649, 07488871624, 07488871560. Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Similar numbers from the same range were previously reported as financial marketing mostly - Accident claims, debt management, PPI. I received a call from these people today, informing me that I had a recent accident! Obviously no accident has occurred, I would love to know how they get our number.

must of called us 20 times or more, claiming to be from different businesses each time they rang and different people. dont not trust them at all. The person who rings becomes very aggressive when questioned. you will have to block their number as they will not give up ringing.
