Funny enough, I saw it tonight in an advert for The Economist offering a free edition when you text the number you get a free copy, but now I've seen this history of the number and the fact it is listed on the web as a premium number but The Economist does say anything other than costs vary depending on your provider which isn't clear is it...

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam
