They called me a few moments ago and, wwhen I asked where they got my number, they became rude and evasive so I hung up. An Indian sounding woman rang straight back demanding to know why I "Cut the call". We had a row and I hung up again. Believe it or not, she rang straight back again. I became quite blunt at this stage, eventually telling her to, and I'll put this euphemistically, "go forth and multiply". She lied when we argued, saying I had volunteered my number (I am ex-directory),

found the number on google under mcafee they called me back took control of my pc and told me I had a virus and it needed fixing told me not to use the pc and pay a guy in kent who they say is whitehat pay £50... they are scammers and NOT MCAFEE take notice of this number and do NOT CALL THEM I have reported them...mcafee are aware of their scam!
Asked for my husband then hung up on me!

Missed 2 calls. Apparently is a company by the name Of SLN Connect offering upgrade. I m with Vodafone payg who may have passed on my number as very few people have it.

I havent answered the call as I was busy but having received many scam calls, I found out that you should block any number containing the following digits "020 7946". There are at least 5 scam numbers containing these digits. I presume that it is the same company doing these calls but using a different extension number each time. I hope that helps. :)
