More criminality that’s going unchallenged.

Fraud automated call telling me that a payment of over£900 was requested from my visa account and to hit one of a series of numbers on my keypad. Needless to say, I didn't and ended the call.

Message saying computer locked down for security as has been accessed by unauthorized person and call this number. Computer did lock down. Called number supposedly Microsoft Security, AVG security suit stopped attempt to login to infected website, (thought I was savvy enough to see the scams but nearly fell for it, thank goodness for AVG). Closed down ran full scan across whole of system, all clear system restart.

Fraud Claimed she was the techincal dept of Virgin Media and that she could see that my internet connection was fluctuating and that she could restart my router to get a better connection. I told her she had called a business and which point she hung up.

Someone called our offices and abused our admin assistant, when rang back to ask why they did this the number was unobtainable. whoever called upset a young lady enough for her to start crying and need to be sent home with another member of staff.

Automated call telling me I have done something and I will get prosecuted for no action. They are scare mongering and asking me to press 1 to speak to their team. I think this is a scam call.

Another number for the Domestic Appliance Insurance scam. Asian man, Alan this time, needing to verify details so he can send me the paperwork. after 1st call immediate second from another Asian man in a call center claiming he is calling to protect my computer identity. Again he could give no real information he got very annoyed and claimed legal coincidence and would get off internet and phone. He then played lots of keys to make annoying sound. He is wasting his time and mine.

Automated voice says this is a bank alert, there have been two charges on your card , it then gives the details of the ‘transactions’ one supposedly for £200+ on Amazon, the other a bank transfer for over £1000. Then asked to press one or two depending on whether you have made these payments or not.
