Claimed to be from Tesco. Asked to confirm postcode and that my age was between 25-65. Didn't confirm anything. When I asked how he had my information he said it was on the Tesco database. Challenged this and told him that I would be pursuing Tesco through the the Information Commissioner as they were in breach of the General Data Protection Regulations.....very quickly hung up on me!! No idea what company it was even after asking 3 times. Initially asked to speak to the previous occupant (they had the name right), but the previous occupant left over 11 years ago. Hung up after I told them this.
I was called by a lady called Belinda, I fell for the loan scam and lost £75, she is rude and threatening. This company prays on people who can't go to the high street for loans. I have contacted Action Fraud run by the police. I hope they get shut down asap
