Pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse, quickly hanged up after I made them aware I'll be recording the call.

This appears to be a bank scam with claims that "your visa card has been charged £500+ on an amazon purchase, and another charge as well. and to press 1 (I think) On phoning back, the number is not reccognised. Interestingly, my own phone number is 014195632xx.

Call recd 0854 16.01.23 automated female voice "Ref your Amazon a/c and ref number xxxx, £799 has been debited, press to reply and confirm if this is correct". This number is "not recognised" on ringing it. SCAM.......

"Hi mum" scam text. You'll be directed to a WhatsApp account with a separate number. They want you to transfer money. Just report and move on.

Called and asked for very confidential information. I caught the scam and didnt give it to them. They are a danger to society and a threat to children. I am not free to reveal any more details but beware of this number.

Received a text message from this number just saying "hi", but this was after I also received a scame texting message from another number saying "Hey mum, using friends phone cos my screen broke. can u msg my temp number on whats app 07379573194 x" so I think the scams are related or connected

This number messaged and it gives a website that looks like post office website but a different address. It was saying that the delivery has failed and you need to pay a redelivery fee before the delivery is sent out again.

SCAM pretending to be a BT engineer as you have an unsecured BT Internet line gets you to download software to get access to your bank details. Knows you name, landlines number, address and postcode

Purported to be from Microsoft about computer security etc "Austin" was very aggressive and on multiple occasions asked questions in the hope of my response being to say "Yes". He was very loud and intimidating. I eventually asked him to hold the line and left the 'phone sitting on the desk, when I returned he had disappeared. I have logged the call in the choices below at dangerous but I also consider it annoying or harassing.

This is a recorded message saying that 2 transactions have been made on my account withdrawing around £1500. It's was obviously a scam so I just put the phone down. I often wonder what their mums think!

Person claiming to be from Amazon, saying that an iPhone has been ordered on my account. This is a scam. DO NOT give them any details. Whatever answer you give, they will send you a code to either confirm the purchase or cancel the order. DO NOT click on this code. They are trying to access your Amazon account remotely.

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. Male with Indian-sounding accent claimed to be from O2 and offered a 25% dicount on my bill for the next 12 months. He asked for my name, email, and contract details to process the "discount". It sounded too much like a scam which led me here.

I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.
