Just received a call from an Asian gentleman called Alex Carter claiming to be from BT and saying I have a problem with my IP/internet connection. Called 8 times in last 7 days, calls every month usually the first two weeks of the month, Liverpool number has been reported numerous times on various caller ID sites as harrassment scam insurance accident claims and high cost premium rate phone number if you try to call back a deliberate missed call as they only let it ring once

16 Jul 2021 - Rang to say an appointment was needed to fix my smart meter that doesn't work. They told me to ring 0808 501 5200 (E-on Next) to make the appointment which I did. When I got through I was told that they had no record of the call, it must have come from E-on Energy. After a long arguement I gave up.Reply
