Received a call from this number with an electronic voice recording claiming that our BT line was to be disconnected. We are NOT with BT! . This is a scam and a fraud. It was also at 8:30 in the morning when not everyone would be up. I do note that googling this number does seem to produce a former genuine use for it, but i double-checked the number. This was a scammer., There is no question about it.
I had a call today telling me that I had a virus on my computer and that the caller could fix it - he had all my Talk Talk details. I asked him for a number so that I could verify he was genuine - he gave me the number 02031294098 - and the name Paul Watson - which was strange as he was Asian and that is a very English name! Anyway Talk Talk verified that they would never call with this information - so it is a scam - don`t give any information away.

I just to confirm previous comments, this is a legitimate number from. HBOS, which was used to confirm an online payment I made. This site was extremely useful, as I had previously blocked this number as unknown, and therefore couldn t set my payment up. After checking through all my blocked numbers on this site I discovered this one to be real!

Bombarded with calls from his number claiming to be from ebay, but ebay say they know nothing about these calls. Scam artists.
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 08437132xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range? Don't call them back, it can be very expensive.
