I said no I didn t so she said could I tell her correct address to put their record straight. I said don t bother, and hung up. I should have asked what record and why? Do they come up with a ficticious address hoping you will tell them the correct address?

As with previous comments, I had a call from an Indian gentleman on 002389001076 and had been chosen at random - the UK government does not do this type of thing so I knew it was a scam. Anyway, I had a little time to kill so let him talk on a little whilst doing the crossword, throwing in the odd "yes" and "I see". Keep calling at different times of the day but I haven't had chance to answer until today. I knew it was a scam call by the amount of times they'd tried to ring and not left a message. Today I accepted call but didn't speak, put them on speaker phone and left them to ramble on about an accident I'd so say had (!).... soon got bored of no response and they hung up.
