Just had a call from this number, an asian lady called Kate Brown(???) who said that my IP address was being used by others around the world so they will be cancelling user licence on my IP address. The second option was they will talk me through how to block so I wont be compromised. Told her that I was computer illiterate and could she ring back later and speak to my hubby. A robot saying there was a warrant for my arrest due to my "tax evasion". The robot informed me I would be arrested if I did not press one. Pressed one as a joke to see what would happen - they put me in hold and then a man answered. I said "you are under investigation for fraud" and he hung up lol You can't call the number it will say it is not recognised as well

Caller said I was subject to a tax investigation but without even confirming who I was so I think it is a scam number and I cannot ring back and it says the call was from in the middle of Trafalgar Square!

getting fed up with these nuisance calls all the time so phoned ofcom who are supposed to be the policeman to deal with these calls. to be honest ofcom is about as useful as a fart in a spacesuit. all the lady could tell me was to use call blocking etc. to which i said when these people have 100 s of numbers not much good. told her that ofcom should prove their worth and starting earning their money by doing something about it. but of course they wont because telephone companies will start bleating suppress
