This is Boots trying to sell directly. Boots use automated dialing and will call every day. If you pick up you ll get music until Boots have a sales guy available. If you hang up boots will just call again. You cannot call them back (its a machine). Boots will never stop calling you, even if you ask them. The only way to make them stop is not buy againthing from Boots or Boots.com. If you have done, your screwed.

This unrecognised number called me yet again! Initially, I did not answer but then fearing it might be Check & Trace I tried to ring it back. It just cuts off so clearly either spam, scammers or phishing. DO NOT ANSWER. I've now BLOCKED it.

A recorded message saying "This is a redirected message from British Telecom - your Internet connection will terminate in approximately 30 minutes - press one to be reconnected. Was from a Gary Walker claiming to be from my insurance company. In actuality it was from The Cotswold Group who are Private Investigators for insurance companies. This nows seems to be standard practice when making a claim and another method for insurance companies to try and get out of reimbursing you. I have been told by an insurance company that they use a phone based lie detector, which is completely useless. Lie detectors are not admissible in court because their results are not consistent.
Fraud Pretending to be from Sky technical department and that my router was giving me problems.. it was sometimes fast and sometimes slow, (aren’t they all ?) anyway, I told him I didn’t have a router, so he asked if I had a cell phone, I told him no, then the call ended.. probably trying to find someone else with a dodgy router. !

This number rang my mobile today. Caller was male, but the line very crackly, so I was unable to catch what they were saying. Quality of the line makes me think it was being rerouted from elsewhere in the world. They haven't rung back so I can only assume it was a phishing type call. I have blocked it.
