This Company called to question my working history. They said that a recent change in the UK legislation meant that many more workers were due to compensation for hearing issues. Tried to set up a meeting with me at the Kings Hotel for 4 March 2015 but I declined and simply asked them to send me their name & contact details and then I would contact them. The number they contacted me using appears to be a local number but she said she was calling from Lancashire. Other information which didn t add up is th

Like the people above, person - a man on first occasion, woman second, couldn t understand what they were saying except they were going to refund PPI. Told them it sounded odd and if they give me a number I ll check it out and get back to them and they put the phone down. Second time I was told to lie about a loan I had not taken out to a different department. They knew my name and address. Not happy.

Had two phone calls first left me a voicemail saying hello hello hello and the other 2 hours later a missed call they use the above number but have 00 at the beginning aswell I m guessing they are phoning from a different country

Subcontinental-sounding told me I needed a box to stop nuisance calls - two pounds fifty a month for three years! Caller Display does it much cheaper and I don t usually answer calls from 0845- numbers. Curious this time.

Said problem with router. Convincing and will try to get control of your computer. Not genuine and if they are then talktalk really ought to work better on their communication.

Keeps ringing with automated female voice re PPI ....

Caller claimed to be from Proficient Helpline and said that they d been informed that I had been involved in an accident that wasn t my fault. Hung up when I told them I hadn t.

Spam. It is a company enquiring about the accident i have had in the past 2 years.

Today I got a call of this number. I was to late and could not answer. But the caller left a message. "start your claim now by pressing 1" I hung up. I don´t want to pay for it. Be careful cost trap!
