SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. The bank transaction shows as Highgames.Online and the number +44753717396 4691792... which the first part I thought might be a UK phone number, hence my post here. Didn't answer the phone. Came here instead to discover it's these jokers again using another number. They've got my business number from somewhere and have been calling using different numbers. I'm a very local business, so when I see a london code come up, I don't answer. Now their calls are going direct to voicemail. I don't take any kind of card payment, I'm too small a business for that.

SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.

Knew one of my email addresses plus my previous home address (haven't lived there for over a year). Asian guy going on about nuisance calls. "Well you are a nuisance call" Didn 't draw breath and carried on talking even when I tried to answer. He said I had registered with them! I denied that. Told me I should think before I speak and also that I wasn't listening to him. He had my name and address - so, he said, where would he have got them if I hadn't registered with them. I said he had stolen them. I am not a thief he shouted. Hung up and blocked the call immediately.
